Bip Ling Inspired.

I personally am a huge fan of Bip Ling's quirky and crazy blog titled after herself bipling therefore when I saw this hat in the 4 - 12 year old boys section at H&M, I knew that it was meant to be! Someone of you may be sitting there going, "ummmm, why?".

Well, it does become apparent within seconds of reading her blog but in simple terms she was these kooky  gooey monster creatures all over her blog, in the design & in posts.

I think this hat is really funky & loud but still wearable with an outfit that's either really busy so that it's not the main focus but also on a neutral one colour number so that it is the main feature. Either way I believe it's a fun piece to have & am extra pleased that it has a Bip touch.

Before The Fashion Blog, The Fashion Book.

Before even any thought of a fashion orientated blog, there was a small cheap notebook that I kept for inspiration. I was only 11 but you can see the same enthusiasm now, to be honest I’d kind of forgotten about it well until a couple of days ago. I’ll be the first to admit it’s bizarre seeing work that you did a while ago but I fairly thought it would only be right to share it.

As you’ll see, the notepad itself was boring despite the funky front cover however it’s what’s inside that matters most.

I also wanted to show you a couple of my favourite pages, I sort of look at them & laugh because they are incredibly unoriginal but I also smile to know that this book has brought me here. However I still feel very sentimental about the book as it has played a major role in my life as it lead me to blogging.

Clarins Gentle Brightening Exfoliating Toner.

I'm sure that many of you are aware of Alpha-H Liquid Gold, a chemical acid based exfoliater & like many people was too scared & (in my case) far too young to use something so strong on my skin but hey before you know it, Clarins have introduced a delicate version - without the stinging & strength yet it does the same job.

Promising to speed up cell-renewal (which gives plump skin & get's rid of redness/scarring) & gives skin a natural glow. It does all of the above, people who've experienced Liquid Gold saw results straight away however with this you'll need several applications.

I went against there advice of usage 1 - 2 times a week & use it everyday, it's honestly fine, they're just trying to avoid lawsuits. I have noticed that my skin looked glowing, plump & my small red zones had gone after only ten days. I'm pleased that I decided to purchase this instead of Alpha-H as the results are the same with  a gentle approach.

Obviously all I wanted this for was healthier looking skin therefore I cannot comment on it's drastic scar clearing qualities. Available for at Boots & other stores for £25.

Macklemore Inspired.

I went to a Thriftshop...
naah, okay I went to Dorothy Perkins....
well, my Mum did.

And she bought a fur (fake) coat & as soon as I saw it I instantly thought of Macklemore & his 'unique' fashion sense. Consequently fake fur can look quite classy if styled correctly but I'm not that brave.

Summer Trend | Floral Sunglasses.

With Summer fast approaching (I mean it's May already?!) I thought it would be a good time to get in a post about one of my favourite trends. Perhaps I'm a little late as this item was more of a staple last Summer however I'm not one to stay completely on trend.

Even if you're not the biggest girly girl, floral can easily add a touch of femininity. Because sunglasses are subtle, even a floral print doesn't remove the attraction from the main outfit. Albeit they aren't following the Monochrome trend but will literally go with anything.

If you're interested then there are some pairs I adore below, you'll quickly observe that there are quite a few different takes on the style.

2. Forever 21 - here

Bourjois So Laque Nail Polish.

More nail-polish, dear oh dear.

Firstly, the formula lasts excellently - throughout the four days there was very little chipping and all in all the polish stayed put however it was the thickness that bugged me. It takes a good 3/4 coats to get it opaque which is very time consuming and frustrating especially when I'm so impatient.

Nevertheless I was a huge fan of the brush, it covered the whole of my nail and had lovely thick bristles that were tightly held together which made applying polish even easier. Also it had rounded corners, a great tool when trying to be detailed and neat.

I picked up a green with a bit of blue shade called 44 Bleu Model, it complements the season beautifully and matches a great deal of outfits. It's not my favourite polish ever however it's decent for it's price six pounds here.

Outfit: Stop Wishing, Start Doing.

Top - Bershka
Shoes & Jeans - Primark

I just got back from the most amazing Thai restaurant ever, yum yum yum. Not because of the food (which was lovely) - because of their fresh lemonade. I literally can't get enough of the stuff, it's addictive.

Later I'm going to watch an Athletics Event with one of my best friends which I'm excited about as I've been a bit down today as I've received a lot of emails regarding my end of year tests which is simply uggghh.

Anyway I hope you like this outfit as much as I do, it's quite chic and incorporated my favourite trend - pastels.

A Touch Of Class.

This headband is one of my favourite pieces to spice up a dress or pretty shirt. It has a neutral shade, a dainty light pink which complements a variety of colours. The detailed sequins and fake diamonds add the finishing touch to a sophisticated piece. I've also been surprised about how long they stay on for, not a single one has fallen off.

Considering the price, I'd stay that it's an item worth purchasing even if you don't get a lot of use out of it. I bought mine from Accessorize however mine is no longer available but you can buy a similar one from the same store here.

Benefit You Rebel Tinted Moisturiser.

A while back I spoke about the Maybelline's BB Cream & since then my morals about too much make-up at my current age have stayed the same. I will only wear make-up if there is an event I want to look put together for (a party, dinner, photograph).

I own barely any make-up & the several pieces I do are 90% from Boots & I decided that I wanted a high quality, light coverage & weightless cream. This isn't actually a BB cream, it's a Tinted Moisturiser but I've been thoroughly impressed, it's light weight which makes it much more comfortable to wear plus it has a matte-glow effect. Sound odd? It looks healthy but not shiny (which Maybelline has very slightly) & looks very natural.

Let's not forget that it has SPF 15 which is okay for everyday use & saves another task. This blends into the skin as if it's just another layer & lasts a full working day with little signs of wearing off.

However it gives a decent amount of coverage i.e enough to cover dullness & slight redness but not enough for say - acne. Sadly it only comes in 2 shades, this is Light where as Dark looks suitable for deep olive skin tones which isn't great but after it's blended in (I just use my fingers) it's suitable for almost everyone.

I'm really enjoying using this & would definitely repurchase it & buy more from Benefit!

THE Messy Bun.

If you want to be statistical, you'd most likely discover that I spend 70% of my life in a bun. You don't have to be Einstein to uncover why; they're easy, look good & add volume to your locks. Simple as.

I achieve mine by a very basic flip over, bunch together & secure with a hair tie. If you want a ballerina bun then I'd use a sock bun - I occasionally go with that look however find it sort of 'perfect'.
